A Masonic lodge serving San Luis Obispo through philanthropy, scholarship, and genuine friendship — and a familiar part of this city for generations.

Who We Are

At its heart, Freemasonry is about service — to each other, and to the community we share. King David's Lodge brings good people together to give back through philanthropy, scholarship, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

We are not a secret society, and we are not tied to any one religion. Members come from every walk of life and every faith. What they share is a willingness to show up — for each other, and for San Luis Obispo.

What We're About

Three commitments, one community

The work that matters most to us, year in and year out.

Philanthropy & Community

Support for the SLO Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, local schools, veterans, and first responders — plus biannual donations to local causes.

Scholarships

We invest in local students — opening doors and recognising the work they've put in to get there.

Youth & Family

We sponsor Masonic youth programs and family activities that build leadership, character, and a real sense of belonging.
